Patsy Wood Trust

Patsy Wood (1960-2007) was an inspirational environmentalist, maverick tree planter and talented seamstress. She was born, raised and studied in Oxford, obtaining degrees in agriculture and forestry before going on to work on forestry projects with Oxford University, Buckingham county council and The National Trust. The Patsy Wood Trust was established according to Patsy’s wish, to support charities which Patsy was involved in or which are close to her heart. They have to be in England, Scotland and Wales and working in the fields of the environment and conservation, training and education, and music and creative arts. The trust can only support applications which come through personal contacts of Patsy or the trustees, and so by invitation only. The Patsy Wood Trust has sponsored the JdP's Education and Community programme at St Hilda's College, Oxford for many years and continues to be a vital source of funding for our schools concerts and Moving Music concerts.
