Described as ‘an artist of great originality and vision’, Irish-Italian violinist Violetta Suvini is a City Music Foundation Artist and recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Emily Anderson Prize 2024. She recently made recital debuts at Cheltenham Festival, St Martin in the Fields, and in the Barbican Main Hall, with performances described praised for their ‘exquisite delivery’ (The Arts Desk), ‘powerful body of sound’ (The Strad) and ‘compelling playing’ (The Arts Desk). Violetta has performed chamber music in venues such as Wigmore Hall and Holywell Music Room; for series such as Barnes Concert Society and Leeds International Lunchtime; and at festivals including the Venice Biennale, Aldeburgh, Zwischentöne Engelberg, Newbury, Bath International, Bloomsbury, and Oxford Chamber. Violetta’s radio broadcasts include the UK premiere of Missy Mazzoli’s ‘A Thousand Tongues’, as well as works by Sibelius and Frank Zappa, for BBC Radio 3, and Ravel’s ‘Sonate Posthume’ for Swiss radio SRF. She was a Britten-Pears Young Artist for the 24-25 season, and has an upcoming CD release of new works she has commissioned for violin-viola duo by composers including Ben Nobuto and Jasmine Morris. During her studies at Oxford University, Violetta received the Marjorie Countess of Warwick Prize, the Mrs Claude Beddington Prize and the Junior Paget Toynbee Prize.
Georgian pianist Salome Jordania has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In 2025, she was named a winner of Forbes 30 Under 30 Georgia, and made her debut recitals at Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, and Cadogan Hall. She has appeared at major festivals including Piano aux Jacobins, Les Grands Interprètes, Palazzetto Bru Zane, Yamaha Rising Stars, IKIF Rising Stars, the Grachtenfestival, and L'Esprit du Piano, among others. As a concerto soloist, she has collaborated with orchestras such as the Georgian Philharmonic, Orquesta de Valencia, SLO Symphony, Potsdam Philharmonic, the Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi, the Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra, and Moscow Virtuosi. In 2023, she made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonie as winner of the New York Concert Artists Competition. A committed advocate for contemporary music, Salome’s first CD was released by NAXOS, featuring music by Martin Matalon. She has worked closely with leading composers including John Corigliano, Jennifer Higdon, and Gabriela Lena Frank, and has received more than thirty international prizes, including the Georges Cziffra Award, and top prizes at the Étoiles du Piano and the José Iturbi International Piano Competition. Salome studied at The Juilliard School, the Yale School of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She has been featured on ARTE and the Dutch television program Podium Klassiek. Her upcoming releases include a chamber duo album and her solo album with La Dolce Volta.
